Thanksgiving Twists!
We have talked about all the things we are thankful for, but now we are going to think about this differently. In class we discussed the fact that sometimes we complain about things, but we can be thankful for those things too. For example, a student from last year came up with these 3 Thanksgiving Twists:
I am thankful for vacuming my house because it means I have one.
I am thankful for cleaning my room because it means it will be clean.
I am thankful for homework because it gives me something to do.

3. I am thankful for Mad-Minute because when I pass a level it means that I am getting smarter each time.

I am thankful for my brother kicking out my tooth on the trampolien because it means I am going to grow a grown up tooth. I am also thankful for breaking my rist because it taught me not to panick when my horse, Breeze takes off. I am thankful for tests at school because it means that I get to show how smart I am. These are three things that I am thankful for.

1. I am thankful for science tests because it means I have my grade to look forward to.

Emily the Soccer Playing Turkey!
Before you say Turkeys can’t play soccer watch Emily on the field! Emily dazzles in the sun.She tastes like sticky soccer balls.But she is worried she won’t make a goal. Some times she is: gleeful, happy, excited, nervous, amazed, sweet, and even ticked off. when she gets ticked off she pushes and shoves. Then the coach takes her off the field. When she gets mad she kicks the ball and it lands right in another turkeys face. That is Emily!
